St. George Trunk or Treat Please join us for the 4th Annual, PTO sponsored, Trunk or Treat event on Friday, Oct. 27 from 6-8 pm in the St. George parking lot. This event is for all SGS students and families.   In addition to decorated cars, candy, and costumes, there will be: Music provided by DJ John Zaphiris Raffle baskets A Waffle Miracle food truck, mini donut food truck & more! Event Reminders: Students must be accompanied by at least 1 adult. Please expect, and plan for overflow parking around the school. Dress appropriately for the weather; this is an outdoor event. Decorating a Trunk: Families who wish to participate in decorating a trunk and passing out candy can sign up here. Prizes will be awarded for Most Creative Trunk, Scariest Trunk, and People’s Choice for Best Trunk! Basket Raffle Donations: Donations for raffle baskets will be accepted the week of the event and can be dropped off in the Multi-Purpose room.                                                 Students, parents, and faculty, please join us for the 29th Annual Rosary March at St. Peter's Cathedral located at 10th & Sassafras Street in Erie, PA on October 8th and help carry our St. George School Banner during the Rosary March. Those joining the Rosary March will gather outside of the Cathedral.  The Rosary March will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m.  The Rosary will also be recited & prayed in the Church while the Rosary March is taking place for those unable to march. Following the March and Rosary, a service will be held in the Cathedral, which will include the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Investiture in the Brown Scapular, and Benediction. Fr. Scott Jabo will be the homilist.  Father Jabo is the Rector of the St. Mark Seminary.
